In July 2019 a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between Queen¡¯s University Belfast and Tezpur University in Assam, India, allowing sponsored graduates from Tezpur to apply for admission to a Collaborate Research Degree Programme at Queen¡¯s University.

The agreement applies across all Schools/Faculties within Queen¡¯s and is subject to normal entry requirements and also the availability of suitable projects and supervisors at both institutions.  Queen¡¯s Study Regulations for Research Degree Programmes apply and Queen¡¯s is responsible for the award of the PhD degree and the Graduation ceremony which will be held in Belfast.

There are currently 14 students on campus ¨C 7 of whom have just entered their final year of study with the remaining 7 currently in their first year.  A cross disciplinary group, their profiles are available for viewing
