Zhile, who?graduated?with a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2016, is?now?an Associate Professor at the?Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT)?where he?has?developed strong international research collaborations.??

He was involved with °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï international student events, organising activities through the Chinese Students and Scholars?Association (CSSA)?QUB. Zhile also organised a Queen’s alumni event in 2018 where over 230 °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Alumni gathered in Shenzhen, China.

“Being at Queen’s was one of most beautiful and fruitful time periods of my life. I got plenty of diverse experiences in terms of research, culture and humanity as well as beautiful scenery?and very good friends. I hope to visit Belfast and °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï again soon.”
