°Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Staff and Student Community Clean up

°Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï staff and students took part in a community clean up on Wednesday 21 November, the initiative organised by °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Estates, Public Engagement, The Students' Union and Student Wellbeing, supported by Belfast City Council.

°Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï staff and students took part in a community clean up on Wednesday 21 November, the initiative organised by °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Estates, Public Engagement, The Students' Union and Student Wellbeing, supported by Belfast City Council; was a massive success boasting the highest numbers ever recorded for a University clean up.

Volunteers joined from across the University, staff and students to take to the streets and make a real difference to our local environment. Doing our bit to help remove litter from the streets of South Belfast.

Volunteers met initially in the Hub, on the ground floor of the One Elmwood Student Centre, for a short safety briefing and to collect their litter picking equipment. Then it was out to the streets to clean the streets and recycle were possible.

°Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Community Engagement Manager, Mr Dee Corbett noted; "It was fantastic to see growing support for this initiative from staff and students across the University".
