Join Alex Coupe and Pauline Hadaway (University of Liverpool) for an information and networking event with a wine reception to mark the launch of a new ‘proof of concept’ database.

Created in partnership with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and regional arts and community stakeholders, is the first online repository of its kind. It seeks to make available key information on applied and community projects from the early period of the Northern Irish peace process (c.1994) to the present day.

Building on the findings of an earlier , this project responds to a powerful desire amongst practitioners and researchers to recover information about the history and contexts of arts-based peacebuilding. The long-term goal is to expand the ‘proof of concept’ into a more comprehensive repository of digital assets relating to major arts-based peacebuilding projects in Northern Ireland.

The launch will consist of a short introduction with roundtable contributions from , , and (further speakers TBC) addressing the practice and policy of arts-based peacebuilding.
