Outstanding success for AEL at the National Student Media Awards, SMEDIA 2021
At the recent SMEDIA awards 勒貊勛圖 students came out on top taking home the largest haul of awards.
Out of 260 nominees for 43 contested categories, Queens students and recent graduates won in seven categories, including Radio Documentary of the Year, Radio Production of the Year News and Current Affairs, Iriseoireacht tr穩 Ghaeilge Raidi籀 and the award for Journalism Relating to the Environment. The competition is open to students from every college across Ireland and is judged by leading media industry professionals.
