Understanding Animal Research

  is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide the public, scientific and research communities with a broad understanding of the humane use of animals in research.

Indeed, researchers and Biological Services Unit (BSU) technicians from °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï regularly visit schools in Northern Ireland in order to increase awareness of animal research and to highlight its importance in developing new medicines.  See the  section of UAR's website for further information.
