On 04 Oct 2025, Professor Sarah Rodgers (Professor of Health Informatics in the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems, ) gave an inaugural lecture on "Making our towns and cities healthier: Connecting the dots between communities, systems and data"
The lecture demonstrated how data-driven insights and community partnerships can transform public health for the better. Sarah shared the importance of a strong team ethos in Groundswell and shared commitment to “turning research into real-world improvements for millions of people.
